drone your… Train Embankment 3D Model was a recent project we carried out for a railway infrastructure client.  It enabled us to advise them on cut & fill data and volumetrics a lot quicker and safer than using a ground-based surveyor.  The accuracy was to within millimetres using control points and flying drones around the site, we were able to avoid the potential dangers of having workmen in harms way next to a live railway line.
